A rainbow arcing over the Great Orme, Llandudno, towards Puffin Island. Taken from Penmon Point, Anglesey, by Michael F Jones, who describes himself as "an Anglesey exile now living in Holmfirth".

Recent storms have exposed the remains of ancient trees on the beach at Tywyn, Gwynedd. Delyth Heath, of Blaenau Ffestiniog, sent in this image of what is left of a woodland dating back some 6,000 years.
