A teenage quad biker from Pembrokeshire who died during an event on Sunday had been racing competitively for several years, said a local councillor.

Daniel Roch, 19, from Narberth was at the Talsarn motocross track near Lampeter in Ceredigion.

Dyfed-Powys Police are asking anyone who filmed the event to contact them.

Councillor Elwyn Morse, who has known Daniel all his life, said: "The quad racing has been a big part of his life."

No-one else was hurt in the incident.

Dyfed-Powys Police confirmed an inquest into the death has been opened and adjourned until a later date.

The Health and Safety Executive has also been informed.

Police were called to the race, run by Dredgers Motocross Club in Llanelli, at around midday.
