Edwina Hart denies growing discontent over M4 relief road

Wales' Transport Minister Edwina Hart says everyone will get the chance to have their say on the planned M4 relief road after two former Labour ministers criticised the plans.

She told BBC Wales that no final decision has been taken to build a new road to the south of Newport.

The decision will be made after the 2016 assembly election, she said.

Former environment ministers Alun Davies and John Griffiths have both spoken out against the scheme.

Mrs Hart spoke to BBC Wales political reporter Daniel Davies for Sunday Politics Wales.
