Any patients who test positive for Ebola in Wales will be transferred to the Royal Free Hospital in London, Welsh First Minister Carwyn Jones has confirmed.
Public Health Wales has been making preparations over several months on how to handle any cases, and NHS staff have received training.
Mr Jones added the risk of an Ebola outbreak in Wales is "very low".
Cardiff Airport is also reviewing its infectious disease plans.
