Hammond on Ebola: 'We have to get ahead of this disease'
Foreign Secretary Philip Hammond has announced 750 British troops are being sent to Sierra Leone to help deal with the deadly Ebola outbreak.
More than 3,400 people have died so far, mostly in West Africa, and a fifth person has been admitted to hospital in Spain after a nurse became the first person known to have contracted the deadly virus outside Africa.
Speaking at a joint news briefing with US Secretary of State John Kerry, he said it was possible to get ahead of the disease but it would take a large focus of resource and effort.
