Education Secretary Kirsty Williams says Wales can do better

Education Secretary Kirsty Williams says Wales "can do better" after another disappointing set of Pisa results sees it lagging behind the other UK nations for a fourth successive time.

The Pisa tests are taken by 15-year-olds from 72 countries and economies in a major study of educational performance every three years.

Ms Williams said plans were in place to bring about improvements in education but she told BBC Wales education correspondent Colette Hume she was disappointed.
