Swansea uni studies Wales' waves and tides with 30m tank

Researchers at Swansea University are setting up models of the waves and tides found around the Welsh coastline to understand how best to harness the power of the sea.

The work is part of a £17m project with Bangor University.

Swansea University said the results will be invaluable for the proposed Swansea Bay tidal lagoon as well as other schemes which may be developed in Wales.
