Louis Rees-Zammit: Vernon Kay says NFL move not easy

Louis Rees-Zammit's American football dream "is gonna be tough", according to BBC Radio 2 presenter and NFL commentator Vernon Kay.

The 22-year-old Wales and Gloucester wing stunned the rugby world by announcing his immediate departure from the sport to try his hand in an NFL development programme.

Despite his athleticism, Kay said Rees-Zammit will be facing the "best of the very best".

"American football is like chess. Your brain is constantly working... there's so much jargon, so much situational play.

"I wish him all the very best, but it's gonna be tough," added Kay, who was presenting his BBC Radio 2 show from Cardiff.
