Eisteddfod chair 'comes home' to Cardigan Castle

A remake of Wales' original Eisteddfod chair has been returned to Cardigan Castle following the site's £12m restoration.
The 9ft (2.7m) sculpture has been placed on top of the East Tower of the 900-year-old castle, which was the site of the first Eisteddfod in 1176.
The hand-carved structure is one of the final pieces of the castle's revamp.
Visitors will be able to see the chair for the first time when the castle reopens to the public on 15 April.
Made from local oak, slate and bronze, the seat was sculpted by Cardigan-based woodcarving artist Paul Clarke.
The chair is central to the Chairing of the Bard tradition, which to this day remains a feature of the modern Eisteddfod.
