Catherine Gowing: Family meet police search teams

The family of missing Flintshire vet Catherine Gowing have met search teams who have been looking for the 37-year-old for the past fortnight.
Miss Gowing has not been seen since Friday 12 October when she was spotted leaving a supermarket in Queensferry.
Her sister, Emma, and brother-in-law Shay, said: "We are desperate to find and bring her home."
Clive Sharp, 46, has been charged with Ms Gowing's murder and has been remanded in custody until 7 January.
Ms Gowing and her husband met search coordinator Ch Insp Dave Roome at Alltami, the village where Catherine Gowing's burnt out car was found last Thursday.
The couple met more than 30 specialist search team officers from the North Wales and Cheshire forces.
North Wales Police described the meeting, which came on the couple's wedding anniversary as "emotional".
After officers described the nature and scale of their task, the couple went in to the search area - a nearby quarry and adjacent woodland - to witness the conditions and terrain in which the officers are working.
In a statement issued via North Wales Police, the couple said: "This morning we had the opportunity to meet with some of the excellent search teams from North Wales and Cheshire who are searching for our Catherine.
"They are a group of determined individuals working hard to reunite us with Catherine. We are so grateful for their positive attitudes and commitment.
"We have been so heartened by all the support received from the public including especially all those that have approached us personally and shared such kind words.
"Today is our wedding anniversary and Catherine was our maid of honour. We are desperate to find and bring her home."
Ch Insp Roome said: "Emma and Shay's presence this morning has had a real impact upon us all.
"They thanked all the officers for their courage and determination and their visit and kind words have been an inspiration to us all."
Police say the search for her remains focused around a quarry, pools and woodland in Pinfold Lane, Alltami, where her burnt-out car was discovered.
However, they are particularly keen to obtain information about the movements of her plum or burgundy Renault and the suspect's car - a black Volvo S40 registration AG58 JHE - between 12 October and 15 October.
