Around 2,800 people have taken part in a walk around Cardiff Bay to raise awareness of people living with dementia.

The event, organised by the Alzheimer's Society, saw people walk either a 4km (2.5 mile) or 10km (6.2 mile) route.

The charity said the event was an opportunity to celebrate loved ones affected by dementia.

They have been taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland.
