Funding for a £9.7m replacement Welsh medium primary school in Swansea has been approved.
A temporary home for Ysgol Gynradd Gymraeg Lon Las in Llansamlet will be used while building work takes place.
The new school should open in September 2017 and serve more than 500 pupils.
Half of the funding will come from the Welsh government as part of the 21st Century Schools programme to rebuild and refurbish 150 schools and colleges across Wales.
Swansea council is paying the other half.
