Watch: Jimmy Lai's last interview as a free man in 2020

The BBC's Danny Vincent spoke to Hong Kong media tycoon and pro-democracy advocate Jimmy Lai, in his last interview as a free man just hours before he was arrested on 2 December 2020.

The 77-year-old British citizen is being accused of foreign collusion under a Beijing-imposed national security law. He has been in jail since December 2020, and faces the possibility of life in prison if convicted.

Closing arguments for high-profile the trial were set to begin Thursday, but have been delayed due to a typhoon. Lai has pleaded not guilty to all charges.
