Gething says no evidence he broke donation rules

Vaughan Gething says there is "no evidence at all" he broke any rules on campaign donations.

His comments come after the BBC revealed a company that bankrolled his successful bid to become Wales' first minister was linked to a criminal investigation at the time.

"We did all the due diligence we are required during the contest several months ago," Mr Gething said.

"I'm not even aware of the detail of the criminal investigation that's taking place," he said.
