'We need more investment in our city'

A Wolverhampton cafe owner is calling on the next UK government to deliver investment into the city.

Jay Patel runs Coffee Moments in the Wulfrun Centre, having previously run two coffee shops in the main shopping area.

Mr Patel said running a business in the city was "very difficult, very challenging".

Meanwhile, Henry Carver, who runs a fifth-generation building supplies firm in Wolverhampton, said he hoped whoever won power on 4 July would not deliver "any shocks" to businesses.

In this election campaign, Wolverhampton is once again a key battleground.
