Lap of honour for Team Blind Dave at Hawthorns
Thousands of football fans saluted a blind fundraiser and his team after they raised £80,000 for a charity foundation.
Team Blind Dave, spearheaded by West Bromwich's "Blind Dave" Heeley, cycled 1,000km (600 miles) along the Western Front Way through France and Belgium in September.
They visited several war cemeteries on the seven-day challenge through the First World War battlefields.
The money raised was presented to The Albion Foundation, external - the charitable arm of West Bromwich Albion - on Thursday evening during the Championship game against Burnley.
"Blind Dave" and his team were then led on a lap of honour around the Hawthorns at half time.
The match was also Albion's Remembrance fixture, with military personnel attending the game, and "Blind Dave" delivered the match ball prior to kick off wearing his West Midlands Deputy Lord Lieutenant uniform.
