Cyclist completes Madrid to Glastonbury adventure

When the gates for Glastonbury Festival opened on Wednesday, most punters present had made the journey by coach, train or car.

But 25-year-old Ollie White decided to take a different approach - cycling to Worthy Farm in Somerset all the way from the Spanish capital city of Madrid.

Over the course of almost a month he crossed "desert-like landscapes, a mountain range and hundreds of kilometres of coastline", and has documented every day in TikTok and Instagram videos edited from inside his tent.

Mr White said arriving at Glastonbury after such a long journey "doesn't feel real" and after enjoying the festival he will continue his adventure home to Sligo on Ireland's west coast.
