President Biden pardons turkeys at White House

For the last time as US President, Joe Biden officially pardoned two turkeys at the White House ahead of Thanksgiving Day.

Peach and Blossom hail from Minnesota and were given the chance to 'gobble on'.

The turkey pardoning tradition can be traced back to President Abraham Lincoln in 1863. Historians claim he spared a turkey's life after his son, Tad, befriended it.
