Watch: Strictly's Amy receives honour from King
Strictly Come Dancing's Amy Dowden was all smiles as she was honoured by King Charles at a ceremony at Buckingham Palace.
The Welsh dancer, who is from Caerphilly, was made a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) for services to fundraising and raising awareness of inflammatory bowel disease.
Dowden, who was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2023, said receiving her MBE from the King was like an "out-of-body experience".
Speaking after the ceremony, she said she had spoken to King Charles about the impact of chemotherapy and her recovery.
