Prince and Princess of Wales return to Southport

The Prince and Princess of Wales have returned to Southport to show their support for the families and community affected by last summer's knife attack murders.

Alice da Silva Aguiar, aged nine, Bebe King, six, and Elsie Dot Stancombe, seven, were killed at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class in the Merseyside town.

Eight other children and two adults were also injured in the attack on 29 July 2024.

William and Kate visited schools and met relatives of the victims as part of their visit earlier, and also went to a special commemorative playground in the town's Churchtown Primary school.

Their previous trip to Merseyside last year was the couple's first joint official outing since the princess completed a course of chemotherapy.
