James Corden says he has been "overwhelmed" by the turnout of fans as they welcomed back the cast of Gavin and Stacey to Barry Island.

Corden along with Ruth Jones and Joanna Page were spotted filming the much-loved sitcom's long-awaited finale at the resort on Tuesday.

The upcoming special which will air on BBC One on Christmas Day.

Corden told the BBC it was "wonderful" to be back filming in Barry for the last time.
