Kamala Harris on her journey and hopes for the US

Kamala Harris has officially accepted her nomination as the Democratic presidential candidate, during the biggest speech of her career.

Speaking at the Democratic National Convention in Chicago, the US Vice-President said electing her would "chart a new way forward".

Ms Harris's speech received a stand ovation and lengthy applause.
