Drag artist opens up about struggle with diabetes

Sally TM discovered the symptoms of diabetes while at a Sunderland game with their dad when they were 10.

Sixteen years later, Sally, from South Shields, returned to the Stadium of Light with the BBC to discuss the impact of that day.

As a drag artist, they want to raise awareness around the symptoms of diabetes, alongside the parallels they have noticed between the world of football and the world of drag.
