Man uses 'Maradona magic' to kick can into bin

A video showing the moment a man displayed silky football skills to keep a can in the air before directing it into a wheelie bin has been watched by millions of people on social media.

Scott Whitehouse captured the footage on a security camera after arriving back at his home in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, on 20 May.

“I showed my mates at work and one of them told me to put it on TikTok to see how many likes we could get”, he said.

“My partner threw the rubbish at me and my Maradona magic came out. As you can see by my face in the video I was shocked it went in.

“I didn’t expect my foot to make contact in the way it did and I was even more shocked that it went in the right bin.”
