Birmingham students showcase at London Fashion Week

Fashion students from Birmingham are showcasing their work at London Fashion Week for the first time.

The event is a major milestone for the city university's fashion department, and gives students the chance to present their designs on one of the industry's biggest stages.

"Showcasing in London is honestly a big opportunity since I feel Birmingham doesn't get the love and the showcase that other universities in London do," said Sean Pajarillo, fashion student.

London Fashion Week has already started and runs until Monday, 22 September.
