'Why can't you play a nice guy on EastEnders?'
Actor Nitin Ganatra played Masood Ahmed on BBC soap EastEnders for nine years, a role for which he won a British Soap Award.
Alongside Nina Wadia, who played his wife, Zainab, they seized the opportunity to portray a non-stereotypical Muslim couple, adding drama and comedy to their roles.
Since leaving the show, he has rekindled his childhood passion for painting and is set to have his first solo exhibition, titled Journeys into the Unknown, but would love to reprise his role as Masood and return to Albert Square one day.
