Looking your best for The Great Scottish Run

A record 30,000 people are thought to have turned out for the Great Scottish Run in Glasgow.

Competitors in 10k and half-marathon events set off from George Square, running through the city centre and south side before finishing at Glasgow Green. They also had the rare opportunity to cross the Kingston Bridge on foot.

Some participants turned up in fancy dress, with Batman, a giant teddy and crazy pink wigs spotted among the throng of runners.

The Great Scottish Run has been held in Glasgow annually since 1979 and has raised thousands for charity over the years.
