Rapper represents North East at Reading & Leeds
A rapper from Whitley Bay has represented the North East at one of the UK’s biggest festivals.
NE-O performed on the BBC Introducing stage at Reading & Leeds alongside his DJ Pirata and fellow rapper Eyeconic after being selected by Shakk – the presenter of BBC Introducing North East.
While enjoying a ride on the Ferris wheel at Leeds, he shared his pride in representing the region.
He also spoke about the importance of family support and how being in the crowd for Eminem’s headline set as a teenager in 2017 inspired the dream to one day perform at the festival.
