Pupils past and present enjoy annual cricket match

Pupils from the past and present enjoyed an intergenerational game of cricket as part of an annual tradition.

Year six pupils from Grange Primary Academy in Gloucester took on a team of the school's old boys in a day that also involved exhibitions and a picnic.

The school is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year and some of the former pupils who played in the cricket match attended when it first opened in the 1950s.

They said it was a great opportunity to reminisce about their school days.
