When Euston Station was shiny and new

While Euston Station has been a mainstay of London's rail network since 1837, the current station and building is less than 60 years old.

With more than 31,000,000 passengers using the station every year, there has been recent criticism of the station layout, plus uncertainty over the station's future with regards to HS2.

Back in 1969, a BBC documentary series made a film about the progress of the UK's railway network, including the modern new station at London Euston which had opened the previous year.

With its modern architecture, state-of-the-art fixtures and fittings and lack of seating, has Euston 2.0 stood the test of time?
