Pupils crying in fear as school went up in flames
Pupils at St Athan Primary School in the Vale of Glamorgan were crying in fear as their school was destroyed by flames.
Five fire engines were called and one pupil said they were very lucky they were not in their classroom when the blaze began.
About 240 pupils and staff were evacuated on Wednesday, and there were no injuries.
The school was previously shut until Friday, but on Thursday, officials confirmed that it would remain closed until after half term to ensure the site is "safe, secure and clean" before reopening.
