US 'going through something' - Elissa Slotkin delivers Trump rebuttal

Democratic Senator Elissa Slotkin provided her party's response to President Donald Trump's speech to Congress.

During her response, Slotkin recognised that the "country is going through something right now," but said that this isn't the first time that this has happened in history.

She then pivoted to one of Trump's favourite talking points, and an area where Democrats typically perform worse in the polls - immigration.
