Girl in care thought she wouldn't make it to teens

A girl in care has said she never thought she would make it to her teenage years.

Lauren said it "hit her like a bomb" when she heard she was moving into care, aged 11.

But four years on, she has said she is happy and is beginning to feel safe again.

"I felt positive, I felt loved and that really helps me feel happy," she said.
