London tour guides help discover the unseen

Unseen Tours is a social enterprise that has just launched a new walking tour around Canning Town in east London.

The tour is unique in that it treads an area not normally populated by tourists and is led by Halimot, a survivor of human trafficking who was once homeless in the area.

Halimot earns a share of the ticket revenue, which helps her retain a livelihood while also providing for her children.

During the tours, she shares not just the area's rich history and vibrant culture, but also her own story.
