School delighted to be named in world top 10 list

A school for children with autism has earned global recognition by being named on a world top 10 list.

Venturers' Academy in Withywood, Bristol, was honoured for its work in overcoming adversity in the World's Best School Prizes, which is run by T4 Education.

Executive head teacher Trystan Williams said: "Our school community is absolutely brimming with pride and excitement at the incredible achievement."

The school was opened in 2016 after parents decided they wanted better services for their children.
