Timelapse footage captures HS2 bridge move
Timelapse video has captured how an HS2 bridge was moved into place in Birmingham.
The 112m structure was moved carefully over four nights using a special skidding system.
It forms part of a mile-long stretch of five viaducts on the approach to the new Curzon Street station.
A section of Lawley Middleway from Garrison Circus to Curzon Circus was closed overnight as the 1,631-tonne steel structure was moved into place by engineers.
