Group's 30 years helping South Asian widows exercise

For three decades, South Asian widows have been coming together as part of a Lancashire group called the Bastwell Buddies.

The widows exercise together in Blackburn to improve their physical health and mental well-being.

One woman said she has been coming to the community group for 25 years and another said it was a chance to see people rather than be "all alone in the house".

The group, which caters to senior members of the community, has just won a Blackburn with Darwen Sports Council Award.
