Michael Sheen warns Wales must fight arts cuts

Hollywood star Michael Sheen has warned Wales must defend itself from attacks on the arts saying: "We're not going to let our country die are we?"

The actor has highlighted cuts at Welsh National Opera, National Theatre Wales and Museum Wales ahead of the Welsh debut of the play Nye.

"We are not going to let our country culturally wither on the vine," he said.

Sheen, brought up Port Talbot, insisted something had to be done.

"We are not going to just sit here and let people take everything away from us," he said.
