Duckling family march to safety at Hardwick Hall
A family of ducks are leaving their hotel home and moving to a more permanent residency.
The annual duck march has become a tradition at Sedgefield’s Hardwick Hall Hotel over the past 24 years, with adults and their chicks moving to a nearby lake.
General manager Tim Boyd says they needed “many staff members” to ensure the family had “a safe route down”.
The ducks arrived at their new home on Friday afternoon.
