Watch: Video shows conditions in New York ICE processing centre

New video taken from inside an ICE processing centre in New York City shows the conditions migrants are being held in there. While the processing centre in Manhattan is meant to handle the intake of migrants, families of those detained there claim they're being held for days and weeks.

The video was released by the New York Immigration Coalition, an immigrant advocacy group, to highlight their claims of overcrowding and poor conditions in detention centres.

The Trump administration insists any claims of overcrowding and inhumane conditions in holding facilities are false.

The BBC's Bernd Debusmann takes a deeper look at the video.
