Watch as murderer confesses to killing couple

Police bodycam footage shows the moment a man walked into a police station and told an officer he had 'killed two people'.

Derek Martin, 67, from Brighton, East Sussex, has been found guilty of murdering Josh Bashford, 33, and his 30-year-old wife, Chloe.

Martin, who had been previously married to Ms Bashford's mother, admitted killing the couple in Newhaven on 9 June 2023 but denied their murder on the grounds of diminished responsibility.

On Friday, the jury unanimously found Martin guilty on both counts of murder after five and a half hours deliberation.
