Video shows damage at Wetherspoon after opening night

Footage has shown the extent of damage to ten windows at a Wetherspoon pub that had been open less than 24 hours.

Pub chain Wetherspoon opened Sigered, King of Essex, in Basildon, on Tuesday morning.

The windows were targeted that night and local Conservative MP Richard Holden branded the suspects as "pathetic morons".

Essex Police confirmed it was investigating.
