The litter picker who earned a shock 'thank you'

Meet Elliot Gordon, the 18-year-old litter picker with autism who cleans the streets of his neighbourhood every single day, rain or shine.

He began his mission four years ago and now spends most of his free time removing litter.

The streets are looking cleaner and his grateful neighbours have taken notice.

Zoe Farley, who lives nearby, started a Go Fund Me page to raise some pocket money for Elliot - and has amassed more than £4,000.

With Elliot off to college in September, his future is looking bright and he hopes to turn his hobby into a career in waste management.
