Would you have a cup of tea with a stranger?

It's thought a nice cup of tea can make most of life's problems a little bit better and one man from London knows this more than most.

Documentary maker Will Sheers from Kentish Town, north London, offers a cuppa and a chat to strangers as part of his mission to combat loneliness and he has been hearing some poignant stories in return.

Since releasing his first video on 31 January 2025, Will's A Mug Of Life posts have racked up millions of views on social media.

Despite posting just a handful of videos, the stories have reached far and wide, and have even helped reconnect people after years apart.
