How do you fix a giant sink hole in the middle of an estate?
A huge sinkhole that opened up a week after Storm Bert last year - forcing people to evacuate from 30 homes - has been fixed at a cost of £4m.
The work is described by one engineer as the "biggest engineering job in south Wales" this year.
A 33ft (10m) wide and 45ft (14m) deep crater opened up at the bottom of a driveway in Nant Morlais, Pant, in Merthyr Tydfil last on 1 December 2024.
"It's believed there was a landslide further up the valley which washed a load of debris through the tunnel during the storm which caused the collapse," said Edwards Diving Services site manager Craig Howe.
The culvert, which dated back to 1910, was "showing its age", he added.
