Watch: Wildfires rage in Turkey as flames engulf houses

More than 50,000 people have been evacuated from wildfires across five regions in Turkey.

Many of those forced to flee are in the western province of Izmir, where fires - fanned by strong winds - have continued for a second day.

It comes as Turkish coastal regions have experienced more wildfires in recent years due to hotter and drier weather which scientists say is caused by the climate crisis.
