Rob Burrow's family visit namesake MND centre
Rob Burrow's family have visited a motor neurone disease research centre named in his honour.
Lindsey Burrow and their children, Maya, Macy and Jackson, left permanent handprints in concrete slabs that will be part of the building being built in Leeds
Rob Burrow died in June after being diagnosed with motor neurone disease (MND) in 2019. Alongside former Leeds Rhinos team-mate Kevin Sinfield, he helped raise more than £15m for MND charities.
Part of this money will fund the state-of-the-art Rob Burrow Centre for Motor Neurone Disease, which will be based at Seacroft Hospital.
