Model railway engineers celebrate 70th anniversary

The City of Oxford Society of Model Engineers is celebrating its 70th anniversary this year.

The society was formed in December 1955 as the Witney and West Oxfordshire Society of Model Engineers.

The society relocated from Blenheim Palace to Cutteslowe Park in Oxford in 1988, where it has remained ever since operating the Cutteslowe Park Miniature Railway.
