Dogs audition for a role in a Glasgow comedy play
Dogs have been auditioning to star in a play as part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival (GICF).
The chosen hound will join the cast of Walking Shadows which will be performed at Websters Theatre on 21, 22 and 23 March.
The script calls for the dog to make a short appearance and perform a trick on stage.
Michael Lewis, the show's writer and director, said the "cute factor" would also be a factor in which dog gets the part.
He added he was looking for "a dog that's going to have a good impact when it comes on and a wee bit of star quality".
