Footage shows the moment a first wave of flood water washed through the streets of Paiporta in Spain.

Cars were still driving along streets when the Valencian town was hit, where the impact of the floods was particularly devastating due to a ravine running through its centre.

The number of people who have died in the Valencia region has risen to more than 200, according to local authorities.
